hello everyone!!
ok two VERY exciting pieces of news.
i am hosting a gay art extravaganza ART IS GAY this TUESDAY 6-10pm!!
RSVP HERE i will be doing typewriter poems and there will be sooo much fun gay art to explore and even purchase! if you have a chapbook/zine you want to table at this LMK! also looking for some staffing support (paid in food, drinks, admission & eternal gratitude and karmic community points)
is that we are going to have our very first edition of PIG ZINE and YOU yes YOU are going to contribute!!! we are going to be able to table at the NYC poetry festival this year (july 13+14) so get your best work together and submit using this form!! submit asap— before June 30!

AMAZING!! our next PIG is tbd but i am anticipating it being june 23, but still needing to get confirmation on a venue!
a recap of our last PIG…
for our role call i asked what gives everyone GEB— aka gender euphoric bliss.
then we talked about it for the live poem!
next we did a 10 minute write on “what makes you feel gender euphoric bliss”
after that we did a 30 min write on these:
and not gonna lie— things got pretty intense! there were a lot of grieving gay people and after that we spent a good amount of time discussing the grief that comes from being gay, the lost time, experiences, not being able to date innocently as a teen, etc. we had some impactful discussions and the poetry that was shared was sacred and I feel honored you all trusted me to facilitate this. I LOVE YOU GUYS!
we had some delicious treats thanks to Tyler and David, and hope we can come back very soon! I will be back to update you on the next PIG, but for now I will hope to see you at ART IS GAY this tuesday and get your submissions ready for PIG ZINE! I’d also love some visuals to accompany any pieces/if anyone wants to help with layout and design let me know!
