wow divas can you even believe all this snow and ice? boyfriend couldn’t believe it either so thank you all so much for making the last minute switch to our first ever online PIG!
our next PIG will be Monday, February 9th from 7:30pm-9:30pm with a business meeting beforehand at 7:00pm, but location is still TBD, so be on the lookout for that update!

for pig 51 we explored the queer art of failure and during roll call we talked about our first memories of failure:
Brooke, she/her, 3 concussions before age 6
Dylan, she/her, couldn’t figure out how to ride a bike, hired a clown to teach her
Reece, he/him, spilling beverages
Siri, she/her, missed the key change in you are the music in me
Shannon, any, hid during Irish dancing audition
Rebecca, she/they, couldn’t skip during ballet
Thea, she/they, dropped rocks onto a car’s sunroof
Alyssa, she/her, throwing rocks at highways/failure to learn how to swim
Nicole, she/they, tried out for cheer team and didn’t make it
which generated this gorgeous live poem:
then we had some classic structured writing time with the following prompts:
- Write down five times you’ve failed
- Favorite failure
- Rejection is protection/redirection
- Write about the worst grade you’ve ever gotten
- Financial failure
- Failed relationship
- Failed by your country
